MA90 chemical hood MA90 series hood has been studied as to assure the operator’s safety and to prevent any “chemical”, “fire” and explosion risk from occurring. Metallic parts have been treated and painted with anti-corrosion epoxy powder, internal walls have been realized in F1 fire-retarding stratified laminate, glasses are 3+3 safety coefficient stratified; the hood can be completed with different kinds of tops, according to the user’s specific needs.

General construction characteristics:
The hood is equipped with a double back wall forming an extraction “plenum”, an aerodynamic hood area to avoid vortex formation, an upper air inlet and an air inlet positioned on the worktop, assuring a fast evacuation process and a safety anti-burst system.
The suction unit is composed of an IP 55CE tight motor, with polypropylene volute and rotor. It is dimensioned according to the standards in force, to hoods dimensions, to extraction path and to the different kinds of working procedures and utilised products.

The external bearing structure has been realized with electro-zinc plated steel sheet panels, painted with anticorrosion epoxy powder by transit through heat tunnel at 200°C.

45° inclined vertical profiles to ease air inlet. Internal coating with 5 mm fire-retarding stratified laminated.
Internal plenum in 5 mm fire-retarding stratified assuring a double extraction (upper level and worktop level)
Vitreous enamelled worktop with retaining edges, supported by a steel tubular bearing structure that assures a load capacity over 200kg/m2.
Under cabinet front panel specially provided for the inlet of the supplies the hood is equipped with.

“Ups and downs” front door with AISI 316 counterweight wire ropes on the back, 3+3 safety coefficient horizontally sliding panes.
SAFETY BLOCK safety device automatically assuring the locking of front door at any height in case one or both wire ropes break, as provided for by the regulations. Automatic locking device of front door opening at 50 cm height, as provided for by EN 14175 regulation. Blind sides.
